Sorry its been a while

had a few things going on and not really had time to craft or blog but things are settling now so hope to keep updating and crafting a bit more often now.

Anyway I have been tagged for the first time by no less than 5 people so thanks too Sally, Frances, Caro, Jan and Debsy.

So here goes 7 things about me

1. Just love love love cardmaking.

2. Am a homely family person.

3. Very independant dont accept help easily.

4. Ran for the All England school girls in the 200mtrs and the 4x4 relay. ( couldnt possibly do it now though hehe )

5. Like a glass of good wine.

6. Enjoy reading biographies although not read any for a while.

7. Love watching hospital programmes real life or fiction.

Lovely Surprise

Sally one of my CM&PC friends awarded me the "I Love your Blog ". Ive been working on the layout and adding bits n bobs so am really pleased.

Sally has helped me loads and will probably be helping me loads more too in the future, Bless her.

Hubbys Birthday today

He liked all his cards and presents and we even managed to go out for tea. He wasnt too well this morning and in a lot of pain but he rested and took his medication so we went out about 4.30.

I havent managed to make any cards at all the last 5 or 6 days as Ive been so busy catching up with all the washing and Housework but hope to have a crafty day on tuesday. Have Millie 3 days this week so no chance during the day and usually shattered by the evening running about after her.

Really need to make a box of everyday cards up for Nat to take to work to sell for me seeing as th christmas ones are going so well, will be able to have a good crafty shop soon if the sales keep going.

Of to watch Indiana Jones now with hubby, bought him all the DVDs for his birthday.

Been playing with the layout

and colours of my blog this evening. Not sure if its quite bright enough for me yet so will keep playing. It will probably change a few more times until Im happy with it.

Have been to The Range in scunthorpe today and bought a few bits n bobs, mostly essentials such as glue n mirri card but also popped in a couple of packs of flowers and a pack of paper. We took Millie with us and of course she helped her Nanna spend. Really musnt buy much more stash until after christmas, you never know what I will get for christmas now do I.

Also took Millie for some new shoes, we go to the Clarks outlet as Zoe ( eldest daughter) works there and she gets a great discount, she is also trained to measure and fit childrens shoes which is a great help as Millie will let her do it with no probs.

Busy making personnel Christmas Cards.

Ive been busy on and of today making my personnel family christmas cards. All the others have been done for ages so thought it was time I started these now.
At the moment Im using a mixture of a Kit I got from QVC and some gorgeous papermania papers called wonderful christmas time with added mirror card for a bit of bling. I will show these at a later date when Ive nearly done them, nearer the weekend I hope.
Its been an ideal crafting day as the weather is terrible, cold wet and windy so didnt want venture out in it. Bbbbbrrrrrrrrrr.

Daughters Cards

There are 2 sister cards, a daughter card, girlfriend card and a Mummy Card. Very happy with all these thankfully. Her bday is next tuesday so made in plenty of time. Ive also made a card for my Brother in Law which is very similar to one of my hubbys so wont bore you all with that one. Thats for the 22nd so well organised again this month.

Husbands card

Not too sure about this card for Chris my hubby? His birthday isnt until sunday so I have time to make another if I want too.

Birthday cards for this month

Have 2 family birthdays this month one is my Husbands and the other my Daughter both within 2 days of each other. I have to make 5 cards each for them so thats made my brain ache a bit but Ive got there in the end.

Here are a few cards (hopefully) I made with the snowman set that came with Quick Cards Made easy. I have sent an email to the mag so hope to get in print and get a lovley crafty parcel, ya never know ya luck.
